Day 1 (12pm – 6pm)
- Welcome and introductions
- Benefits of baby massage for baby, parents, society
- General massage principles
- Precautions and contraindications
- Marketing
Day 2 (8am – 6pm)
- Recap
- Class format and lesson plans
- Recognizing cues
- Discuss oils and safety
- Techniques
- Instructor led Baby Massage class
- Create lesson plans for a 4 week baby massage course
Day 3 (8am – 2pm)
- Recap/Questions/Concerns
- Student led class (all students participate)
- Discuss financials
- Give homework (additional 10 hours of work creating & teaching workshops on their own time)
- Evaluation Forms
- Wrap up
